Election day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Vote at your polling place.
But you may vote before Election Day. No excuse is required!

- Vote early in-person at designated locations, dates, and times.
- Vote absentee by-mail. You must apply for an absentee ballot. You may apply online at https://absenteeballotapplication.alaska.gov/ or print a paper form and mail it to the Division of Elections. The deadline to apply is Saturday, October 24, 2020, 10 days before the election. Completed ballots must be postmarked or delivered to the Division of Elections or any voting location by 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 3rd.
- Special Needs voting. Special Needs voting allows those unable to vote in person due to age, serious illness or disability to have a personal representative pick up and return a ballot for you. Special Needs voting begins Monday, October 19, 2020. More information is at https://www.elections.alaska.gov/Core/specialneedsvoting.php.
- Vote by electronic transmission. You may ask the Division of Elections to send you a ballot by fax or by online delivery. Begins Monday, October 19, 2020, when the application will be available online at https://www.elections.alaska.gov/Core/votingbyonline.php. The deadline for the Division of Election to receive an application is 5:00 pm Alaska Standard Time on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020. The Division of Elections must receive your completed ballot by 8:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
